| 21! Yeah, feels a lot like 20, except they cut my drivers license at the Sec.State office. Punks. So, a huge thanks goes out to just about everyone I know for the amazing surprise birthday party you guys threw for me. It was amazing! I really do appreciate it! After the party some of us went and watched the Chuck Norris movie that I believe Michelle and Lita (?) got for me, and it was a little rediculous, but I did see about 25,000 round house kicks. He also broke a guys neck. Also thanks to all of you who gave me wonderful gifts. I will treasure them forever. (Kris-the transformer is sitting on top of my pc now). | Its been a while since I've had a real update. For those still wondering, I'm taking Urban Ministries for Jterm. Its a pretty big workload, but I might just pull it off. I didn't have class today, which makes me happy, but I have a 6 page paper to write today, then tonight/tomorrow morning, I have to work Campus Safety 2-6am. I have 4 empty Dr.Thunder cans around my desk, and one that is almost full. So last night I hung out with the Chedda Chowda Yowda known to the rest of the world as Tracey, and Alicia Rain-deers. Ron came later too. Ron, Vershmecky (also Tracey) and I played some MarioKart. It was fun. Then later, everybody went to bed, and I went over to Runals/Deena(come get some ham)'s apartment, and we watched a Knight's tale, and I made dumb comments that they laughed at. But it was a really fun time. I finished my reading yesterday, so at least I got that accomplished. Ron was talking about how he wanted to get Turok the Dinosaur hunter for his N64, and then we made various Terak jokes, it was funny. Terak the dinosaur driver... oh if only people thought we were as funny as we think we are. But yeah, it was a good night. We decided (Ron and I) that we need to watch all the star wars movies over Jterm, because he's only seen Episode 1. So be ready. Thats all I got. | | |
| Hello. My name is Nate. This is my xanga, as it was a long time ago. Know whats rediculous? This is the first time I've looked at it since April of 2004. Keep in mind I'm days from 2006. I just thought I'd drop a line letting people know that I'm alive, and things are a lot different in my life now than they were in April of 2004.
I am: no longer dating the girl I always wrote about (since december 2004). I am still attending college, still an art major (for now at least).
The reason this suddenly came about is that I just can't sleep. I'm in awake mode right now, and its almost 4am.
I keep a livejournal, which more than likely will be the thing I update more. But I may start this thing up again. So here's the deal. What is written before this entry is the past. I'm not at all in the situation I was. I'm looking for a way to delete all of the entries pretty much before this, but if I can't and they're here to stay, then so be it. Hanyways. thats all. | | |
| I just had an awesome visit. A friend of mine who is from my hometown has a boyfriend, it is this boyfriend that came to visit me. I hardly know him, but he has been going to my home church, and he is on the worship team now. I've always had just a little trouble talking to him, because I once considered dating his girlfriend. I don't know if she ever considered me, but before anything could have even possibly happened, she ended up dating him. She had just been 'let go' in an old relationship with a good friend of mine, who is also at this college. So, she was between guys when I thought of her.
Okay, so this guy comes to visit me in my village because he's on campus for a 'college visit' day. He also needed to use my phone. But he was a guy that I think I'd kind of kept away from, because I felt like my friend (his girlfriend) had jumped into a relationship with this guy too early, and hadn't known his standing with God. And, obviously, he was dating a girl whom I had considered dating. But when he came, we talked a little bit about college, and life and his parents expectations of 'doctorism' for him. But it was really cool, because I had questioned his spiritual life and found out that he was now looking at entirely different colleges and was trying to follow God's plan for his life, even though his parents were ticked off with him.
